Thank you for visiting Mudita Cattery. Mudita is a Buddhist term meaning “Sympathetic Happiness” as we feel this is what British bring to our home and yours. We have been breeding since 2003 and pride ourselves on breeding healthy kids. We have tested all our kids for FIV (feline Aids), FeLV (feline Leukemia) and PKD (Polycystic kidney Disease). They are all negative for the above and most are Blood type “B”. We have tested all our children to ensure that you are getting healthy kittens. We are registered with Cat Control Council of Tasmania. and live in Launceston Tasmania. Temperament is also extremely important for us, as they will soon be your children. We have carefully chosen the lines that our children come from, as you cannot produce great kittens without having great parents. Our grandkids are lovingly house raised, have outstanding temperaments and are well socialised with both humans and our other K-9 kids Eddii and Safii. Our children are spoilt and we are fortunate enough to share their house with them. We enjoy the social aspect of breeding and showing the kids and have met some wonderful people that share our passion. British are very intelligent, friendly cats and make calm and quiet companions. Once in your house hold they attach themselves to your family, follow you around like a dog and are extremely loyal. We feel they are the K-9 of the cat world and can win over any heart. If you are interested in British of another colour we’ll be happy to steer you in the right direction. Brittany is our spayed girl and affectionately known around the house as “The Godmother”. She is one of the most laid back cats we’ve ever know and runs her house with a gentle paw.
